 | Sydney's Rich Thompson Named to MLB Team Travelling To Taiwan Rich Thompson, right-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the Sydney Blue Sox, product of the MLB Australian Academy and Hornsby-native, has been named to the 28-man roster of MLB players touring Taiwan. He is the first of the 31 Australians to play in the Major Leagues to be selected for a travelling All-Star Series team.
