BRISBANE, Queensland - The Brisbane Bandits are proud to announce that for the upcoming Australian Baseball League season, the organisation has teamed up with Subway Queensland and is now commencing the launch of the Subway Bandits Kids' Club.

 

Thanks to the continued support of Subway Queensland, the "SubClub" will provide children aged 15 and under an opportunity to take part in Bandits activities and to enjoy the highest level of Australian baseball at an incredibly affordable rate.

 

Enrollment in the SubClub will include a season pass to all 23 of the Bandits regular-season home games, a Kids' Club membership card entitling each member to a free cookie with every Subway purchase, the opportunity to be a Bandits bat boy or girl for a night, an announcement on the field during a promotional event, two Bandits autograph sessions during the season and much more.

 

Membership to the SubClub is $30. The hope of the organisation is that by making the membership as affordable as possible, the number of Brisbane Bandits supporters will grow, sparking an increased interest in baseball in Queensland.

 

"Subway Queensland is allowing the Brisbane Bandits a chance to give back to the grassroots programs in the area, as well as to the thousands of boys and girls who want to join the Bandits team," Bandits General Manager Paul Gonzalez said. "This will allow those young fans and baseball players an opportunity not only to be a part of the team, but to support the players on the field at the same time."

 

This grassroots initiative is an exciting chance to showcase the positive role models that Brisbane has to offer on its roster. It will allow the area's youth to join the older players at a number of different times and events throughout the season.

 

"I am excited about this new membership club for the youth of Australia and the ways in which it will connect the junior players to their 'heroes,' the Brisbane Bandits," Gonzalez said. "This opportunity would not have been possible without the continued support of Subway. We hope many young fans will come out and enjoy the games this season and be a part of this special group."
