WA WINS NATIONAL SCHOOLBOYS CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to Western Australia who were crowned National Schoolboys Champions after a convincing 5-0 win over New South Wales in the Grand Final last week in Lismore.

WA's win makes them the fourth state to take top honours in as many years, and becomes just their second title in the 20 years since the championships became truly "National" in 1989.

In addition to the West Australian's stellar team effort there were also several standout individual performances highlighted by the tournament award winners and all-star team selections.
