Australian Baseball Federation Welcomes New Board Member

The Australian Baseball Federation is pleased to welcome Yasmine Gray to the ABF Board from August 2012.

Yasmine has over twenty nine years’ experience in media, marketing and PR and is the Company Director and founder of Gray Media Services; Brisbane based public relations and marketing company.

Bringing together a rare skill set of exceptional experience in the communications industry, Yasmine has a genuine understanding of business in a wide range of industries; mining, health care, sport, IT, retail, not-for-profit and tourism are just some of the many industries in which Yasmine has applied her strategic planning and development skills.

As the Company Director of Gray Media Services, Yasmine successfully runs a team of public relations and marketing consultants providing a complete suite of services for a wide range of clients in varying industries across Australia and overseas.

In sport, Yasmine plays a significant role in advising The Brisbane Broncos on specific marketing, public relations and communications projects, and is also responsible for creating marketing, communications and sponsorship strategies for key sports players in the NRL and Queensland Reds.

An accomplished Editor, Reporter, Columnist and Presenter, Yasmine’s work has featured in the Courier Mail, Woman’s Day, Herald Sun, Channel Ten and Channel Nine, as well as broadcast and publication in London.

Yasmine’s extensive PR and marketing experience will lend well to the competitive Australian sporting landscape and the demands on baseball to evolve in this ever changing industry.  Speaking of her appointment, Yasmine stated:

I believe the opportunities that lie ahead for baseball in Australia are enormous and I look forward to being able to use my experience in public relations and marketing to help the board achieve its goals and ensure that baseball becomes an increasingly significant part of the sporting landscape in Australia.”

ABF President David Hynes said that Yasmine will be a valuable addition to the Board:
