The Australian Baseball Federation is pleased to advise of the following appointment of Australian Umpires to International Baseball Federation tournaments for 2012.

 

Fiona Lambrick, Western Australia

Women’s World Cup, Edmonton, Canada.  10 to 19 August 2012.

This is a milestone achievement as the first Australian Female Umpire appointed to an IBAF tournament.

·         Began Baseball Career as a junior in Bendigo in 1966;

·         Played as an adult for Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley until 1993;

·         Commenced Umpiring 1994 Latrobe Valley Baseball Association;

·         Joined The Baseball Umpires Association Victoria in 1994;

·         Served as Secretary of BUAV for 11 Years and now a Life Member;

·         Schools Attended - ABF UDP Canberra 1995, Jim Evans Academy 2001;
