AUSTRALIAN BASEBALL FEDERATION INCORPORATED

22     POWERS OF THE BOARD

Subject to the Act and these Rules, the business of the Federation shall be managed and the powers of the Federation shall be exercised by the Board.  In particular, the Board as the national authority for the sport of baseball in Australia shall be responsible for acting on all national issues in accordance with the objects of the Federation and shall operate for the collective and mutual benefit of the Federation, the Members, the sport of baseball and the general community throughout Australia and shall:

(a)     govern the sport of baseball in Australia in accordance with the objects of the Federation;

(b)     implement major strategic directions;

(c)     implement policies in accordance with the directions of the Council; and

(d)     manage international responsibilities.
